About the job

Don and Low are looking for an experienced Distribution Administrator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator, your role will be to assist with all aspects of the administration of the dispatch process.

Duties:

  • Process pick tickets from the sales
  • Confirm stock availability
  • Book transports and provide the carrier with information on the timing and quantity of pick-ups
  • Liaise with Sales as required and confirm details of despatch requirements
  • Update Sales on order exceptions
  • Prepare & verify all necessary despatch paperwork
  • Check price and quantity charges on carrier invoices
  • Confirm deliveries and check invoices for these orders
  • Assist with any other general administrative task as required

The ideal candidate:

  • Good general standard of education
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of computerised systems
  • Knowledge of despatch systems
  • Forklift certificate would be advantageous but not required
