About the job
Don and Low are looking for an experienced Distribution Administrator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator, your role will be to assist with all aspects of the administration of the dispatch process.
Duties:
- Process pick tickets from the sales
- Confirm stock availability
- Book transports and provide the carrier with information on the timing and quantity of pick-ups
- Liaise with Sales as required and confirm details of despatch requirements
- Update Sales on order exceptions
- Prepare & verify all necessary despatch paperwork
- Check price and quantity charges on carrier invoices
- Confirm deliveries and check invoices for these orders
- Assist with any other general administrative task as required
The ideal candidate:
- Good general standard of education
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of computerised systems
- Knowledge of despatch systems
- Forklift certificate would be advantageous but not required
