Description

People Operations - Services Coordinator

Be part of something evolving. Be ‘in good company!'

We are evolving how HR works. We are moving beyond traditional service delivery to a model that is smarter, more insight-led, and genuinely impactful whilst remaining optimised, efficient and people focussed. This is not your standard HR admin type role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, spotting what is not working and doing something about it – someone who can balance operational delivery with curiosity, problem-solving and a drive to improve how things are done. Someone who is an HR systems, data and processes expert will fit in very nicely! You will be joining a collaborative HR Services team where people challenge constructively and take pride in delivering a high-quality service for our customers. You will play a key role in strengthening how we use HR systems, data and insight to make better decisions and improve our employee experience and business operation.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering high-quality HR support across all aspects of the full employee lifecycle
  • Taking ownership of queries and issues, seeing them through to resolution
  • Working confidently with HR systems and data, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Producing and working with HR data and reports, spotting trends and highlighting key insights
  • Identifying inefficiencies and helping to implement practical improvements
  • Collaborating with colleagues to continuously enhance how the team and business operates

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in an HR or shared services environment
  • Confidence working with HR systems and data, with strong attention to detail
  • Someone who naturally looks for ways to improve things, not just maintain them
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships

Why join us?

  • You will be part of a team that is actively evolving, not standing still
  • You will have the opportunity to shape how HR Services operates day-to-day
  • You will work in an environment where ideas are welcomed and improvements are genuinely implemented
  • You will be in good company, surrounded by people who care about doing things well and doing them together

This is a full-time role, working 5 days and based in our head office in Broxburn, Midlothian.  Hybrid working may be considered once the role is sufficiently established.

If you are looking for a role where you can accelerate progress through your systems, data and insight mindset, somewhere where you contribute, grow and make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

Please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter including your salary expectations, telling us why you think you are a good fit for the role to hrcoordinator.recruitment@ianmacleod.com

Please note, that to be able to be considered for this opportunity candidates must already have full eligibility documentation to be able to live and work in the UK. This is also an open application window, therefore we may close the advert at any point depending on the candidate applications received so our recommendation is that you apply early to ensure you don’t miss out!

Proudly supporting the #OpenToWork movement.
