Project Manager – HV/LV & Civils
📍 Scotland & UK Wide (Site Based)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from initial design through to delivery and handover. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage HV/LV and Civils projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and proactively manage the planning, development, and delivery of projects

  • Ensure all contracts are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget

  • Maintain full understanding of scope of works and manage variations and change control

  • Establish safe systems of work in line with Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations

  • Act as primary liaison with clients, subcontractors, and third parties

  • Prepare and maintain project programmes and resource plans (MS Project or equivalent)

  • Communicate project requirements clearly to site teams and contractors

  • Manage and coordinate project teams and activities

  • Oversee project execution to meet contractual, quality, and safety standards

  • Manage project costs, revenue, and financial performance

  • Operate as Principal Contractor under CDM where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven Project Management experience within HV & LV networks and/or Civils

  • Strong financial control and commercial awareness

  • Knowledge of contracts and contract law

  • Experience producing and monitoring project programmes

  • Cost and revenue management expertise

  • Understanding of HV/LV systems

  • Prince2, APM qualification, or equivalent practical experience

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills

  • Strong decision-making ability

  • Ability to lead teams effectively

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
