Description

Campion Homes is a respected and award-winning housebuilder with a proud legacy of delivering high-quality homes across Scotland. With a strong commitment to community, sustainability, and employee wellbeing, Campion is more than just a construction company – it’s a place where people grow, contribute, and thrive. As a family-run business, Campion fosters a collaborative and down-to-earth culture. You’ll be joining a close-knit team where your voice matters, your work is valued, and your development is supported. With exciting growth underway – including a head office expansion – it’s a great time to come on board.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Training Administrator to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This is a critical role with real impact, supporting both HR operations and training compliance across our construction sites. You’ll work closely with site managers, apprentices, and external training providers to ensure our workforce is fully equipped, certified, and supported. From managing training schedules and CITB funding to onboarding new starters and coordinating wellbeing initiatives – this is a varied and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track training schedules, renewals, and certifications for site staff.

• Liaise with external providers and apply for CITB grants.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Coordinate with colleges and manage apprentice onboarding, attendance, and performance.

• Ensure all documentation is in place for funding and certification.

• Support the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding and inductions to probation reviews and leavers.

• Draft contracts, manage benefits, and maintain HR systems (including SharePoint).

• Assist in delivering the company wellbeing plan and mental health support initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong admin skills

• Resilient communicator – able to work with site managers and handle fast-paced environments.

• Self-sufficient and adaptable – comfortable working in a small HR team.

• Previous experience in construction or housebuilding is a plus.

• Confident with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Holds a driving licence and own transport.

The Offer

• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

• Hours: Mon–Thurs 9am–5.15pm, Fri 9am–4pm (35 hrs/week)

• Location: Head Office, Dunfermline

• Hybrid: 1 day WFH after onboarding

• Benefits:

- 31 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)

- Christmas shutdown (19 Dec – 5 Jan)

- Private medical insurance

- Pension scheme

- Death in service cover
