About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in People & Culture.

Reporting to the Group People & Culture Director, you will provide hands-on support across recruitment, training, employee records, reporting, and general administration. You will also contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, offering a broad and practical experience of People & Culture in action.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and is keen to build a career in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including job adverts, interview scheduling, contract preparation, and inductions
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including absence tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate training sessions and ensure training records are up to date
  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes, including probation reviews and leavers
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and day-to-day administration
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and managers
  • Assist with internal communications, ensuring consistency and clarity across teams
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and with confidentiality
