1. Introduction

Welcome to Job Hub Scotland Limited (“Site”). These Terms and Conditions

(“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using the

Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of

these Terms, you must not use the Site.

Job Hub Scotland Limited is not acting as an employment agency. The information

on the Site may be updated periodically without prior notice.

2. Definitions

“Job Poster”: A user who posts job listings on the Site.

“Job Seeker”: A user who views or applies to job listings.

“User”: Any person accessing or using the Site, including Job Posters and Job

Seekers.

“Content”: Any text, data, images, graphics, or other material posted on the

Site.

3. User Obligations

Account Registration

To post or apply for jobs, Users must register an account and provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and all activities under their account.

Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent jobs.

Advertise pyramid, franchise, or “get rich quick” schemes.

Upload viruses or malicious code.

Harass or abuse others.

Use the Site for unlawful purposes.

Charge or request application or registration fees.

Job Hub Scotland Limited reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts or job postings at its sole discretion for any violation of these Terms.

4. Job Postings

Job Poster Responsibilities

Job Posters must ensure that job listings are accurate, truthful, and comply with applicable laws, including employment and anti-discrimination legislation.

Data Protection

Job Posters acknowledge that Job Seeker data constitutes personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Posters are solely responsible for complying with all applicable data protection obligations, including safeguarding Job Seeker data.

It is strictly prohibited to:

Share, sell, or distribute Job Seeker data.

Use Job Seeker data for purposes other than recruiting for the specific posted vacancy.

Legal Compliance

Job Posters must comply with all relevant laws including (but not limited to):

Equality Act 2010

Employment Rights Act 1996

Any applicable laws relating to discrimination, immigration, or fair recruitment.

You are solely responsible for verifying candidate qualifications, references, and right-to-work status before offering employment. Job Hub Scotland Limited does not vet or verify CVs or candidates.

Listing Duration

Job listings will remain live for 30 days unless removed earlier by the Job Poster or Site administrators.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Fees and Payments

Fees for posting jobs or subscribing to services are displayed on the Site. All payments are exclusive of VAT.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a 12-month subscription, you agree to either:

Pay the full amount upfront; or

Pay monthly, with a 12-month minimum commitment.

All subscription payments are non-refundable, even if the service is terminated early by you or by Job Hub Scotland Limited due to a breach of these Terms.

Renewals

Unless cancelled prior to the renewal date, annual subscriptions will automatically renew for another 12-month term at the prevailing rate.

Failure to pay on time may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Job Applications

Job Seeker Responsibilities

Job Seekers must:

Ensure all application information is accurate and current.

Have the legal right to work in the country where the job is based.

Only apply for roles for which they are suitably qualified.

Job Posters may verify qualifications and right-to-work. Job Hub Scotland does not guarantee employment for Job Seekers.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and features of the Site are owned by Job Hub Scotland Limited or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Job Hub Scotland Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce it as necessary for Site operation.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for information on how we collect, use, and store your data.

9. Termination

By You

You may close your account at any time by following instructions on the Site.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you violate these Terms or misuse the Site.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Job Hub Scotland Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages, including lost profits or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by our negligence,

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,

Any other matter for which liability may not be lawfully excluded.

We do not guarantee that:

A Job Seeker will accept a job;

A job offer will not be withdrawn or declined.

We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from the Site.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Job Hub Scotland Limited against all claims, damages, and losses arising out of:

Any breach of these Terms,

Any Content you submit,

Any misuse of Job Seeker data,

Any failure to comply with applicable laws.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
